This storyboard is inspired by Kafka’s Metamorphosis through the journey of Gregors, a beetle who longs to become human. Set in a surreal school environment, the story explores themes of identity, alienation, and transformation with
a satirical twist.
I used warped perspectives and dramatic lighting, ato express feelings of isolation and scrutiny, while tight, off-centered framing heightened discomfort and psychological tension. By carefully adjusting each frame’s visual weight and perspective, I aimed to let Gregor’s internal struggle without words but purely through atmosphere.
